Fuel for the Soul

Life is better when you live to better yourself.

This is the era of information. I take pleasure in consuming information, as well as in making my own small contributions, when possible.

These are some activities that help me relax and recover from a long day in the office.

It's your turn, mate.

The game of kings has everything; rivalry and respect, strategy and tactics, creativity and discipline.

While still a novice, I thoroughly enjoy a good game.

Strength in numbers.

Mathematics is beautiful, pure and elegant.

​I draw satisfaction from using my self-taught MATLAB skills to solve and contribute coding challenges on MathWorks' Cody community website. For advanced practitioners, Project Euler is recommended.

The power of the written word.

While not a book worm by any means, I try to indulge in a nice read every now and then. Popular science is my default choice, although I occasionally mix it up.

One of my all time favorites is 1984, by George Orwell.

What's on the tube?

Sometimes the brain needs a good rest. In those moments, I turn on a political drama or a sit com.

Marvel Comics films are also on my watch list.
